I’m excited to see this final project and feel honored to be part of it as a calligrapher(English & Japanese). I come from Hiroshima, where my grandparents experienced the war. I have always searched for a meaningful way to honor this history, such as by writing the names of survivors in Japanese. This project was created by a talented team, featuring portraits, video interviews, and archival images, all enhanced by beautiful graphic design. Hope you have a chance to read these survivors’ stories. Thank you very much, Long Lead, John, @TamikoNimura, Sarah, and @MorganLieberman, for the fantastic experience
